Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts can only be submitted through the journal’s online manuscript submission and evaluation system, available at

Manuscripts submitted via any other medium and submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be evaluated.

The style of the manuscripts should be prepared according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), Seventh Edition (journal revision) (
Manuscripts submitted to the journal will first go through a technical evaluation process where the editorial office staff will ensure that the manuscript has been prepared and submitted in accordance with the journal’s guidelines. Submissions that do not conform to the journal’s guidelines will be returned to the submitting author with technical correction requests.
Authors are required to submit the following documents;
1) Manuscript File

The article file must be uploaded in Microsoft Word format.
2) Copyright Agreement and Acknowledgement of Authorship Form

This form should be filled out completely, including original signatures, scanned and submitted electronically.
The authors in different institutions, however, may prepare separate forms, sign, and submit to the Journal.
3) Similarity Report
The iThenticate similarity report should be uploaded to the system during application. The acceptable similarity index score is %24 for the International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Food Sciences.
When the article is accepted for publication, the similarity index is checked by the Editorial Office with the iThenticate program and is required to be below 24% at the time of publication.

Studies requiring ethics committee permission are listed below. When uploading your manuscript to the International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Food Sciences (JAEFS), you must upload the Ethics Committee Permission document along with your paper file.
If your study is not included in the study group requiring ethics committee approval, you must sign the declaration form indicating this situation and state the situation in the text of the paper.
Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Permission
• All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using questionnaires, interviews, focus group work, observation, experimentation, interview techniques.
• Use of humans and animals (including material / data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,
• Clinical studies on humans,
• Research on animals,
• Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on protection of personal data
• Stating that "informed consent form" was obtained in case presentations,
• Obtaining and specifying permission from the owners for the use of scales, surveys and photographs belonging to others,
• Stating that the copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used.
